What is a Net ID?

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has adopted a single University-wide identifier, called the NetID. All Faculty, Staff, and Students MUST have a NetID. You may choose the NetID for yourself consisting of 3 to 8 characters.

You will need your NetID to use the many of the tools below. Select the tool you need for the system on which you receive email.

Pegasus Accounts

• Create a Pegasus Account
• Change Your Pegasus Password
• Remote Reset Password Tool
• Change Your UNIX "finger name" or other information
• Check Your Account Quota
• Forward Email To A Different Account
• Spam Filtering (Activate or Deactivate)
• Use "Vacation" To Send An Automated Response

Andromeda Accounts

• Create an Andromeda Account
• Change Your Andromeda Password
• Change Your UNIX "finger name"or other information
• Check Your Account Quota
• Forward Email To A Different Account
