Our Mission

The mission of Newark Computing Services, a division of The Office of Information Technology, is to provide campus-wide leadership in Information Technology and quality Information Technology services in support of the Rutgers University - Newark's mission of instruction, research, and community engagement.


We will be a role model within the higher education community for customer satisfaction and service excellence using innovative strategies and advanced technologies.
