A disk quota is the amount of space allocated to house your files, email, webpages etc. in your account on andromeda or pegasus.
Once you have exceeded your quota you will not be able to log in or access your email. If this happens you will need to visit our Help Desk in Hill Hall (Room 109), email Help at: firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the Help Desk at (973) 353 - 5083. Consultants on duty can show you how to reduce the amount of disk space you are using in your account.

If you have turned on Spam Mail filtering, you should check the contents of your Spam Mailbox regularly. If you do NOT check this folder regularly, you may fill your disk quota, preventing new mail from being received. (more information)
