Network Issues

11/20 - OIT became aware of a Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack that began around 10 PM on 11/19/2014 which affected various Rutgers services.  OIT staff are continuing to investigate and resolve the problem. Status updates will be posted here when available.

OIT became aware of a Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack that began around 10 PM on 11/19/2014 which affected various Rutgers services. Services were restored as of 9 AM on 11/20/2014.  However, OIT staff are continuing to monitor the situation.

Move-In Weekend - Help Desk Extended Hours

We know that moving in and getting connected to the network is an important part of Residential Life. The Newark Computing Services Help Desk is here to help. We will be open for extended hours during move in to assist you with computer problems.
